Hoya Pubicalyx ‘Silver Spots’
A trailing plant which would be perfect for a bookcase, produces gorgeous star shaped flower clusters. A lovely little plant, unassuming but still with plenty of character. Very similar to ‘Splash’ but was sold as a Carnosa. We have ID’d it as H.pubicalyx but it has wider leaves and more variegation than the ‘Splash’ so we gave it the moniker ‘Silver Spots’ to differentiate.
Water: Less is more when it comes to watering; we like to wait until the leaves pucker slightly.
Light: This Hoya grows best in very bright light. Southern exposure is best, but it can adapt to east or west locations in front of a window. In low light, a Hoya plant may never bloom.
Humidity: They like high humidity and would be perfect for a bathroom or kitchen.
Temperature: Average room temperature is fine.
