Calathea Yellow Fusion
This prayer plant is native to Colombia and Venezuela, with delicate pink pinstripes going across the foliage. The name ‘Yellow Fusion’ comes from the plant’s creamy yellow variegation
- Calatheas are known as ‘Prayer plants’ meaning their foliage folds up at night and drops during the day.

Growth pattern: Compact rosette
Water: When the top 2-3cm of soil becomes dry. Do not let it dry. Thrive in higher humidity.
Ideal Position: East facing
Light: Bright, indirect or filtered light.
Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
