Begonia lyallii
Beautiful serrated blade Begonia from Madagascar that grows best in seasonally dry environments. We find it best to alternate between high moisture and drier periods (although not completely dry).
Water: Only water your Begonia once the top soil feels dry, less so throughout Winter or in lower light environments
Light: Begonia love bright indirect sunlight.
Humidity: Will thrive in high humidity environments
Temperature: They love the warmth, about 20 degrees C
Begonias are notoriously fussy and are prone to die back or ‘melting’ when shipped. We pack with care but expect some level of die back when you receive the plant. With appropriate care the plant will grow back stronger and be more suited to the conditions you provide. Only purchase if you are confident in your ability to care for this plant.
