Begonia imperialis x pustulata ‘Silver Jewel’
A stunning hybrid with metallic foliage which is predominantly silver with thick, almost black, contrasting, radiating markings. Cultivar with origins in Central America (mainly Mexico).
- Leaves are covered in little hairs which give them a velvety feel and sparkly appearance.

- Tolerant of lower light conditions.
Growth pattern: Rhizomatous, clump-forming & bushy
Water: When the top 2-3cm of soil becomes dry. Do not allow water to sit on the leaves.
Ideal Position: North or east facing
Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.
Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
