Begonia albopicta
Desired for its large, angel wing shaped, silver spotted leaves. Native to Brazil.
- Produces clusters of small, pendulous, pink flowers which contrast perfectly against its green and silver foliage.
- Fast grower.
- New growth is silver and bronze before hardening
Growth pattern: Upright & cane-stemmed
Water: When the top 2-3cm of soil becomes dry.
Ideal Position: North or east facing
Light: Bright, indirect or filtered light.
Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
