Small sized epiphyte with a loose rosette of subcordate to broadly elliptic maroon leaves reticulated in gold The leaves of this orchid are velvety on the surface, and matt-red green on the underside.

Growth habit: Rhizomatous geophyte.
Water: Water when top 3 cm of substrate is dry.
Light: Bright indirect light.
