Labisia sp. Mangkuk | Ardisia sp. Mangkik
Labisia sp. ‘Mangkuk’ is a rare and unique plant known for its distinctive, bowl-shaped (mangkuk in Malay) leaves, which are dark green and glossy with prominent veins. This plant is native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia, where it grows in shaded, humid environments.
Water: It prefers consistently moist soil but should not be waterlogged. Allow the top inch to dry before watering again.
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Humidity: High humidity, above 70%, is crucial. It’s well-suited for terrariums.
Temperature: Maintain a warm environment between 18°C and 24°C, avoiding cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.
