Particularly attractive due to its multi-toned, dainty growth which eventually creates an ombre effect. Native to Bangladesh, Burma, India, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, China, Vietnam.
- Known as the trailing maidenhair because of its long, delicate fronds.
- New growth is often blush pink before maturing to green and bronze.
- Tolerant of lower light conditions.
Growth pattern: Clump-forming & bushy.
Water: When the top of the soil looks dry. Likes to stay moist.
Ideal Position: North or east facing.
Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.
Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
